Pet Policy Consultation
We are currently reviewing our pets policy policy. The current
policy and the restrictions within the tenancy agreement have been
in place for some time and do not reflect the growing amount of
best practice. information, which encourages landlords to have more
positive policies towards pet ownership. It also restricts
responsibile pet owners and the benefits that pets can make to a
person's health and well being.
As a result we have been working with a focus group of
interested residents to produce a new draft policy and this has
also been considered by our Reading Group. We have generally
recieved positive feedback and now want to carry out formal
consultation with all our residents.
