The Grove - Grimsby
The Grove is an award winning, modern, purpose built care
home in Waltham near Grimsby.
It features 49 en-suite rooms for both single and double
occupancy. Some of the apartments have kitchenettes and
private balconies.
Although furniture and soft furnishings can be provided,
prospective residents are welcome and encouraged to bring in their
personal belongings. This gives our residents the freedom to
decorate their apartments to their own taste, retaining their
individuality and identifty.
The Grove care home offers comfortable
communal areas where residents can enjoy socialising and
take part in a wide range of organised activities. There is a
large comfortable lounge with a conservatory overlooking the
woodland area and a spacious dining room where you can enjoy
delicious home cooked meals. You can also enjoy the beautiful
Woodland Walk and patio areas in the warmer months.
The wide, spacious corridors and wider doors
together with the lift are designed to make it easier for residents
with wheelchairs and restricted mobility.
At The Grove care home we pride ourselves on
serving fresh home cooked food that is prepared by our team of
catering staff in our fully equipped 5* hygienic kitchen
(accredited by the Environmental Health
Officer as part of the Scores on the Doors
initiative) and served in our spacious dining room. A varied
menu is on offer and special diets are catered for whether it is
for cultural, religious or medical needs. Seasonal menus are
devised by the senior cook who invites new ideas and suggestions
from our residents and their
relatives.
