We understand that purchasing your own home is a big commitment both financially and practically.  To help assess whether this is the right choice for you, Longhurst & Havelok Homes (L&H Homes) have developed an affordability calculator to see if Shared Equity is an option for you.

As well as affordability issues other qualifying criteria may also apply on some of our developments.  For example, priority may initially be given to those with a local connection.  We will tell you about any special criteria that may apply.

In addition to carrying out a financial assessment, all prospective applicants will be asked to complete a comprehensive application form which will be processed by Longhurst and Havelok Homes, in conjunction with the Homebuy Agent for the area.

To qualify for the shared equity scheme the property being purchased must be your principal residence. The scheme is not available to investment buyers.
