Opportunities for young people
Youth Bank
There were many reasons for the Youth
bank set up; one of these was that we wanted a stronger
relationship with the younger tenants of L&H Homes. We want you
to feelthat you can talk to us, let us know when something isn’t
working, and tell us what the younger Longhurst and Havelok
Homes tenants want to see us doing. These are just a few of
the reasons. We didn't want our younger tenants to feel that they
were being ignored. Your views are just as important to us as
anyone else's and what better why to make yourselves heard than
having your own group?
'Communic8' is a newsletter for our Young tenants. Included in
'Communic8' are articles on issues faced by young people
today.
We have included: The Duke of Edinburough Award,
useful websites, get the facts on Gangs, recipes, bulllying,
staying safe on-line, healthy living, have your say, earn whilst
you learn and much more.
If you are interested in any of the above articles, please click
below on the Communic8 newsletters.

Junior Wardens are volunteers aged between 11 and 17 years of
age who assist the community. They will work to the values of
a Safer, Cleaner, Greener neighbourhood.
