Junior Wardens

In May 2009 working with the local police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Groundwork Lincolnshire, South Holland District Council and Environmental Services, we introduced a Junior Wardens Scheme. The scheme involves a group of young volunteers aged between 11-17, working together to help promote a safer, cleaner, greener neighbourhood. They have helped promote free home safety tests through the Fire Service, a session on knife crime awareness and regular estate walkabouts. We hope to introduce other Junior Wardens schemes on our estes in South Holland in the future.
