Our Service Promises

Longhurst & Havelok Homes (L&H Homes) aim to provide you with all the necessary information you will need in order to understand what retirement living is and how we deliver our services to you as a resident.

To ensure that we achieve this, we have made a Service Promise, which sets out to:

  • Put the interests of our customers first in all areas of our work.
  • Provide a service which gives you value for money
  • Provide an efficient, effective and caring management service.
  • Develop lasting relationships by involving our customers in the work that we do
  • Provide you with opportunities to comment on and have an influence over the services and standards you receive.
  • Maintain and improve the properties we manage by means of cost effectiveness and carefully planned maintenance.
  • Continue to develop and improve our services and standards.
  • Continually develop our staff to ensure the delivery of a quality service to you.

 

The ARHM Code of Practice

We are a member of the Association of Retirement Housing Managers (ARHM), an organisation who is committed to high standards and ethics in the management of retirement housing and the provision of services to residents.ARHM

The ARHM have published a Code of Practice, which is approved by the Department of Environment.  Our adherence to this Code gives leaseholders the assurance that we are dedicated to best practice and high standards of professional competence.
