Estate Champions

What are Estate Champions used for?

This is a scheme for residents to help monitor the level of service being delivered for landscaping and communal cleaning by our contractors.

What your role will be?

Your role as an estate champion is to use the forms provided to give your feedback on the services being delivered within the proximity of your property.

We ask that if you have got any concerns or feel that areas of the service are being missed that you put the information on the forms.

For each monthly survey you return completed you will accumulate a £2 voucher. Your total will be calculated and sent to you during November and March of each year that you are an active member.

What you won’t be expected to do?

We will not expect you to;

  • Stay at home waiting for the contractor.
  • Walk around the whole scheme to complete your form. We are trying to get as many champions as possible, this mean that you might not be the only one on your scheme. Only monitor the areas closeted to your property if you live on a large scheme.
  • Approach the contractors directly to report issues or request they do any additional work whilst they are on site. Please use your forms to provide this information so that we can use the systems we have in place to make improvements and monitor performance.

How will we use your feedback?

We will use your feedback as it arrives and any repairs or missed items will be raised with the contractor in a timely manner to get the problems resolved.

We will produce a quarterly report that will show all the survey results, including the scheme that the comments are relating to. These are used in two ways; one is that they are taken to the contractors meetings and any on-going issues or trends are discussed and a resolution can be agreed. The second way is that we will take them to our Neighbourhood and Communities Panel, these are a group of involved residents that are set up to monitor, review and scrutinise our performance including our contractors. Members will raise any concerns or questions and the contractor will have to provide a response regarding the action they are going to take or any action that has already been taken.

Below is a table showing the schemes where we currently have estate champions. Click on the links to show the schemes data. If your scheme isn’t listed below and you would like to help us to monitor the service where you are living contact us here.
