Please note: If you are a Homeowner, (that is a Leaseholder or a Shared owner) you are normally responsible for all repairs inside your home. L&H will only attend to repairs that affect communal areas.

We aim to deliver a good quality, efficient repairs service that is accessible to all our customers and to keep your home in good condition, ensuring it is safe and secure.

The repairs and maintenance of your home includes the following areas:

  • day to day repair to your home
  • major repairs such as heating and kitchen replacements
  • programmed cyclical repairs such as annual gas servicing and external redecoration

We are responsible for most repairs and maintenance works but there are some minor repairs that you are expected to carry out yourself. We have introduced a range of how to... guides to help with a range of repairs to your home brought to you by B&Q.

Gas Servicing - it's really important that you provide us with access to your home so we can check that the gas supply in you home is safe.

Repair Priorities - Day to Day Repairs

We aim to provide a day to day repairs service which is flexible, accessible and takes account of your individual circumstances and the nature of the repair when completing your order.

We will:

  • respond  to emergency repairs within 8 hours
  • complete non urgent repairs within a maximum of 21 days
  • agree a mutually convenient appointment time with you to carry out non urgent  repairs.  

    Four hour appointment slots will be offered as follows:

Monday - Friday  8 - 12 / 10 - 2 / 12 - 4 / 4 - 8*

Saturdays 8 am -12.00 pm*

Those slots marked with a* will only be available where there is sufficient demand.

Wherever possible our operatives will complete the repair at the first visit and without the need to return.
